Job Description
The 17th session of the UN Human Rights Council Social Forum is now open for registration. Held annually in Geneva, this unique three-day event provides an inclusive space for civil society, governments, and international organizations to engage in open dialogue on pressing human rights topics. Unlike other UN meetings, the Social Forum encourages equal participation—civil society members speak and contribute alongside Member States without rigid protocols.
The 2025 Forum, set for October 30–31, brings together activists, NGOs, youth groups, academics, and more to explore a selected human rights theme through expert panels, interactive discussions, and side events. While no financial aid is available, participation is free and offers the opportunity to shape global human rights dialogue, with outcomes documented in an official report to the Human Rights Council.
