Benefits and Financial Aid

  • 50% fee waiver on tuition fees for successful applicants.
  • The fee waiver is credited directly to the student’s tuition fees account.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements for the 2025/26 UEL Postgraduate Scholarship:

  • Must be starting a postgraduate taught certificate, diploma, or master’s course at UEL in September 2025 or January 2026.
  • Can study full-time or part-time at UEL campuses.
  • Assessed by UEL admissions as a Home student for fees.

Ineligible Courses:

  • Online or distance learning courses
  • Postgraduate courses at partner institutions
  • PGCE courses
  • Professional Diploma in Architecture Part 2 / MArch Architecture
  • Integrated master’s degrees
  • Postgraduate research degrees (MPhil, PhD)
  • Professional Doctorates
  • MA Social Work students receiving government funding

Selection Process

  • Applications are assessed based on the quality of the student’s application.
  • Decisions are made internally by relevant UEL staff.
  • Successful applicants will receive notifications via email.
  • Scholarships are confirmed once the UEL admissions team issues an unconditional offer.
  • Limited scholarships are available, awarded based on merit and internal allocation criteria.

  1. Applicants must first apply for an eligible postgraduate course at UEL.
  2. Upon application, they will receive a Student ID number needed for the scholarship application.
  3. Late applications will not be accepted.
