Job Description

The KidsRights Foundation’s International Children’s Peace Prize (ICPP) for 2025 is now open for nominations. This annual award honors a child who has shown exceptional courage in advocating for children’s rights. The prize aims to provide a platform for young voices to speak out on children’s issues and make a significant difference in addressing the challenges faced by children around the world.

Since its establishment in 2005 at the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Rome, the prize has recognized extraordinary young advocates for children’s rights. Past winners like Malala Yousafzai and Greta Thunberg have made global impacts through their activism. The award is presented each year by a Nobel Peace Laureate.

In 2024, Nila Ibrahimi won the prize for her courageous efforts to fight for girls’ education in Afghanistan. Her protest song, “Go to School,” challenged the ban on schoolgirls singing, and her campaign reached millions of people worldwide through media coverage.
