Opportunity Description
The Generation Google Scholarship for Women in Computer Science aims to empower women who are pursuing degrees in computer science and related fields by supporting their academic journey and helping them become future leaders in technology. This initiative reflects Google’s commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in the tech industry.
Selected candidates will be awarded a €7,000 grant for the 2025–2026 academic year. The scholarship is open to students who show outstanding academic performance, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to fostering inclusive environments in tech.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Identify as female.

Be enrolled full-time in the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s program at a recognized university in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa (EMEA) during the 2024–2025 academic year.

Plan to continue full-time undergraduate studies in 2025–2026.

Be pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.

Show academic excellence, leadership potential, and a genuine need for financial support.

Applicants must not be previous recipients of any Generation Google or Women Techmakers scholarships, or other listed Google-funded awards.

Children of Google employees are ineligible.
Students who are not eligible are encouraged to explore opportunities via Google Careers for Students.
Scholarship Benefits
