Job Description
The American University in Cairo (AUC) is now accepting applications for its Excellence Scholarship Program for the Fall 2025 intake. This prestigious program aims to support outstanding international students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, talent, and a commitment to their communities.

Scholarship Categories
1. Academic Achievement

2. International Diversity
- Encourages students from over 60 countries to apply.
- For international students with strong academic records.

3. Egyptian National Certificates
- Open to students from Thanawiya Amma, STEM, and Nile national degree programs.
- Applicable to students from both public and private schools in Egypt.
- Coverage: 20% to 40% of tuition fees.

4. Talents Scholarship
- Recognizes exceptional skills in areas such as sports, arts, music, writing, and other creative fields.
- Coverage: 20% to 30% of tuition fees.
5. Leadership and Community Service
- Awarded to students who demonstrate leadership abilities and community engagement.
- Coverage: 20% to 30% of tuition fees.
6. Liberal Arts Majors
- Specifically for students committed to liberal arts disciplines.
- Coverage: 20% to 30% of tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the AUC Excellence Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Strong academic performance based on the scholarship category.
- Submission of supporting documents.
- Some scholarship categories may require an interview.
- International Diversity applicants must apply as international students.
- Transfer students are eligible if they have completed less than 60 credit hours at an accredited university.
- Must meet additional AUC admission requirements.

Required Documents
For Undergraduate, Non-Degree, and Auditor Applicants
- $50 non-refundable application fee.
- Personal statement (300-500 words).
- IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo results (for degree-seeking applicants).
- National ID (for Egyptians) or Passport (for Non-Egyptians).
- Official high school transcripts (grades 9-12) with GPA and SAT/ACT scores (for American Diploma and Canadian Diploma students).
- Letters of recommendation.
- Proof of extracurricular activities.
For Graduate Degree, Non-Degree, and EMBA Applicants
- Completed application form.
- $50 application fee.
- Supporting documents (Statement of Purpose, CV, ID, Passport, Motivation Letter, etc.).
- Official transcripts.
- Letters of recommendation (submitted online).
- Student Data Form (for international applicants).
- English language proficiency results (IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, Cambridge English Proficiency, or Cambridge English Advanced).
For Arabic Language Intensive Program Applicants
- $50 application fee.
- Personal statement (250 words explaining motivation for studying Arabic).
- One letter of recommendation.
- Official university transcript (if currently enrolled in a university).
- Copy of passport.
- Two recent photos.

How to Apply?

- After submitting the application, AUC will send a Scholarship Application Link via email.
