Job Description
The University of Toronto, in collaboration with Massey College and the School of Graduate Studies, offers the Scholars-at-Risk Fellowship to support graduate students whose academic work has been disrupted due to political challenges or refugee/asylum seeker status. This fellowship aims to promote academic excellence, cultural diversity, and community engagement within the university.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
- Be current or incoming full-time master’s or PhD students at the University of Toronto
- Have sought asylum or refugee status within the last five years or have been affected by political issues in their home country
- Show strong academic achievements (via transcripts and research potential)
- Demonstrate financial need through a financial assessment form
- Be committed to contributing to the university community

- Proof of asylum/refugee status
- Supporting immigration documents (if needed)

- One confidential Letter of Reference
- SGS Financial Need Assessment Form.
