Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) invites applications for its prestigious UMY University Scholarships 2025-26 for international students. This opportunity is available for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs, offering fully and partially funded scholarships.

Scholarship Benefits
For the first year, recipients do not pay tuition fees or living costs. From the second year onwards, the scholarship depends on academic performance:
Undergraduate Students:

GPA ≥ 3.00: Full tuition fee waiver & living cost coverage

2.75 ≤ GPA < 3.00: 75% tuition fee discount
-
GPA < 2.75: Scholarship revoked
Master’s & Ph.D. Students:

GPA ≥ 3.50: Full tuition & living cost coverage
-
3.25 ≤ GPA < 3.50: 75% tuition fee discount
-
3.00 ≤ GPA < 3.25: 50% tuition fee discount

GPA < 2.75: Scholarship revoked

High school diploma (for Bachelor’s applicants)
Bachelor’s degree certificate (for Master’s applicants)
Master’s degree certificate (for Ph.D. applicants)
Valid passport
Motivation letter
English proficiency test (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or TOEIC)
Two recommendation letters (for Master’s & Ph.D. applicants)
Research proposal (for Master’s & Ph.D. applicants)
All documents must be in English or Indonesian (translated if necessary).
Eligibility Criteria
🔹 Open to students of all nationalities
🔹 Bachelor’s applicants must hold a high school diploma
🔹 Master’s applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with a strong GPA
🔹 Ph.D. applicants must possess a Master’s degree with good academic standing
🔹 English proficiency is required:
