The Transilvania Academica Scholarship is designed to attract outstanding students from around the world. Beyond academics, the program aims to create a network of global ambassadors who will help promote the university’s values and build its international reputation.

What the Scholarship Covers

• Full tuition fees (including registration and graduation costs)
• Free housing in university dormitories (even during holidays)
• Monthly stipend: 800 Romanian lei (~USD 170), including during vacation

Note: Travel and visa expenses are not covered.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must:

• Be from a country outside the EU/EEA
• Apply to a full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program at Transilvania University
• Show excellent academic or extracurricular achievements
• Submit all application materials in English
• Maintain good academic performance each year

• Three Recommendation Letters (from teachers, mentors, etc.)

Incomplete or non-English applications won’t be considered.

How Selection Works

• A special evaluation board under the university’s Rector will assess all submissions.
• Selection is based only on your documents – no interviews or exams.
• Only selected applicants will be notified by email after 2 June 2025.
