Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Citizenship: Be a citizen of any country other than Turkey.
  2. Marital Status: Must be single.
  3. Age: Born after 01 January 2009.
  4. Educational Qualifications:
    • Completed higher secondary or intermediate education equivalent to Turkish grade 8 with at least 70% marks.
    • No history of significant punishments or suspension exceeding two years during prior education.
  5. Residency:
    • Applicants and their families should reside in their home country, not in Turkey.
    • The applicant must not be a refugee or live with family in Turkey.
  6. Health: Must be mentally and physically healthy.
  7. Education in Turkey: Must not have completed primary education in Turkey.

Documents Required

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  1. A valid original secondary school certificate or a certified copy of the diploma.
  2. A transcript for the 8th grade or, if in the final year, the previous year’s transcript (original or certified copy).
  3. Tazkera or Passport (or a certified copy of the Passport).
  4. An official health report.
  5. Six passport-sized photographs (4.5×6 cm).
  6. Education visa.
  7. Birth certificate.
  8. Parental or guardian consent for the applicant to study in Turkey.

Application Procedure

Applicants must undergo a thorough evaluation process, including document verification and interviews. The selection process is as follows:

  1. Preliminary Evaluation: Document and information checks will be conducted.
  2. Interview Invitation: Selected candidates will be invited for face-to-face interviews in their home countries.
  3. Interview Evaluation Criteria:
    • Visual aptitude test.
    • Knowledge of reciting the Qur’an and tajwid.
    • Basic religious knowledge (faith, worship, Sirah ethics).
    • General cultural awareness.
    • Communication and self-expression skills.
    • Awareness of personal preferences.
    • Special talents and language skills.
