Important Notes:
- Academic programs are subject to restructuring.

- The Global Public Administration major is primarily conducted in English.
- Business Administration requires coursework in Korean.
- A Combined Master’s and Doctoral program is available for applicants holding only a bachelor’s degree who wish to pursue a Ph.D.
Scholarship Opportunities
SNU offers several scholarships for international students:
1. Graduate Scholarship for Foreign Students (GSFS)
- Coverage: Full tuition for up to four semesters and a monthly stipend of at least KRW 500,000 (varies by department)
- Eligibility: Applicants applying for International Admission
2. SNU President Fellowship Program (SPF)
- Coverage:
- Full tuition for up to six semesters
- Monthly stipend (KRW 1,500,000 – 2,000,000) for 3–4 years
- Round-trip airfare

- Eligibility: International applicants currently working as university faculty in developing countries who do not yet hold a Ph.D.

Admission Requirements
International Admission I (For students and parents who are non-Korean citizens)
- Applicants must meet the following education criteria:
- Master’s & Combined Master’s-Ph.D. Applicants: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Doctoral Applicants: Must hold a Master’s degree or higher.
- Non-traditional education credentials (homeschooling, self-education, etc.) are not eligible.
- Graduates from Korean universities completing their degree by August 31, 2025, are eligible.
- Nationality Requirement:
- The applicant and both parents must be foreign citizens.
- Former Korean citizens must provide proof of nationality renunciation before March 6, 2025.
International Admission II (For applicants who completed all education abroad)
- Must have completed their entire education (from elementary to undergraduate) outside Korea.
- North Korean refugees must submit verified academic certificates from the Ministry of Education and Unification.
Important Notes for Applicants
- Application Fee: Non-refundable and cannot be waived.
- Single Application Rule: Applying to multiple programs leads to disqualification.
- Language Requirements: Some courses are offered in English, but applicants should check with their respective departments.
- Deferrals & Enrollment: Admissions are valid only for the semester applied.
- Disqualification Risks:
- Failure to submit authentic graduation certificates.
- Incomplete documentation (apostille/authentication required).
- Dual enrollment in another university post-admission.
- Submission of false or forged documents.
