Job Description
Are you a young professional or student passionate about global security? The OSCE Scholarship for Peace and Security 2025 is a unique opportunity to build your leadership and negotiation skills while engaging with top experts in the field. This program offers participants the chance to explore conflict prevention, arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation—key areas of security within the OSCE region.
Organized by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), this fully-funded scholarship consists of a six-week online course, followed by an exclusive in-person event in Vienna, Austria for selected participants. The training provides valuable insights into security challenges, practical solutions, and career development opportunities in international peace and security.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be a citizen of an OSCE participating state or Partner for Co-operation country
- Be between 22 and 32 years old
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Have a strong interest in conflict resolution, arms control, disarmament, and security policies
- Be eager to exchange ideas and develop leadership skills in global security
Course Topics
Participants will explore critical security issues, including:
- Arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation frameworks within the OSCE region
- Confidence- and security-building measures to enhance regional stability
- Weapons control, including firearms, ammunition, and landmines
- Modern warfare tactics and emerging security threats
- Post-conflict rehabilitation and recovery efforts
- The role of new technologies in international peace and disarmament
- Counterterrorism measures and strategies to prevent violence
