Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be nationals of non-EU/EEA countries without dual EU/EEA nationality.
- Fulfill visa and residency requirements for the Netherlands.
- Apply and meet admission requirements for a full-time master’s program at Maastricht University.
- Be under 35 years old as of September 1, 2025.
- Demonstrate excellent academic performance in their previous degree.
- Not have previously studied or obtained a degree in the Netherlands.

- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Maximum of 2 A4 pages.
- Motivation Letter: 1 A4 page detailing why you should be selected and how you will represent Maastricht University as an ambassador. Use the provided template.
- Reference Letter: Follow the referee guidelines and submit the contact details of one referee.
- Proof of Academic Excellence: Include degree transcripts showing GPA or a signed letter from your department confirming you are in the top 20% of your class.
Scholarship Types
This program includes two funding sources:
- High Potential Scholarship: Funded by Maastricht University.
- Holland Scholarship: Funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.
