Job Description
The ETH Robotics Student Fellowship (ETH RSF) 2025 is now open for applications from international master’s students. This fully funded summer program offers a rare opportunity for graduate students to engage in cutting-edge robotics research at ETH Zurich, one of the world’s leading universities.
Participants will collaborate with top researchers, gaining hands-on experience in advanced robotics projects. Hosted under ETH Zurich’s RobotX initiative, the program fosters diversity, equality, and innovation in robotics research. Over two months, fellows will access world-class laboratories, mentorship, and resources to develop expertise in their chosen research area.

Selected fellows will receive:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
✔ Open to students of all nationalities
✔ Must be enrolled in a master’s program in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
✔ Exceptional final-year undergraduate students at top institutions may also apply
✔ Expected graduation date should be January 2026 or later
✔ Must be available for the full fellowship period (30 June – 29 August 2025)
✔ Valid passport required, with at least six months of validity beyond the program’s end date
✔ Proficiency in English (formal certification not required, but skills will be assessed during interviews)
Required Documents

📌 Curriculum Vitae (CV) – (Europass format)
📌 Official Academic Transcript – Issued by the applicant’s university
📌 Motivation Letter (Max. 1 page) – Explaining the applicant’s research interests, preferred research area, and future career aspirations
📌 Two Academic Referees – Including name, title, position, university, and email
📌 Two Letters of Recommendation – Referees must submit letters directly via email to [email protected] with the subject “(Reference Form).”
