Job Description
Applications are open for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Education Policies for Global Development (GLOBED) program for the 2025/26 academic year. Launched in 2015 and supported by the European Union’s Erasmus+ initiative, GLOBED is an interdisciplinary program focusing on globalization, education, and international development. Designed to bridge gaps in education-for-development studies, the program leverages expertise from leading European research centers and offers a unique combination of academic knowledge and practical experience.
The program is delivered by a consortium of four prestigious universities: Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (coordinator), University of Glasgow, University of Bremen, and University of Cyprus. Students will also benefit from partnerships with over 50 global organizations, providing internship opportunities and real-world learning experiences.
GLOBED prepares students for impactful careers by equipping them with critical analytical skills, a global outlook, and a focus on social justice.

Eligibility Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology, Human Geography, or International Relations
- A minimum grade of 7/10 (C equivalent) or a GPA of 2.75/4
Language Proficiency
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 90 (with at least 24 in writing)
- IELTS: Overall score of at least 7.0, with no band below 6.0 and a minimum of 6.5 in writing
- Cambridge Advanced Certificate: Minimum grade C1
- Waivers may be available for eligible candidates (details provided in FAQs)
Additional Criteria
- Demonstrated interest in global education and development issues
- Professional or volunteer experience related to education or development is an advantage

Selection Process
Evaluation Stages
