Benefits

The scholarships offered by Dalarna University cover between 10% and 50% of total tuition fees. The awarded amount is automatically deducted from tuition fees each semester for the duration of the program.

Scholarships for Enrolled Students

Enrolled students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance can also qualify for tuition fee reductions. To be eligible:

• You must have completed at least one semester (Master’s level) or two semesters (Bachelor’s level) on campus.
• You need to have excellent grades, with no final results lower than a 3 or C.
• All credits from the first semester/year must be completed.
• You must be verified as “outstanding” by the faculty.

Successful applicants will receive a 10,000 SEK tuition fee waiver for each remaining semester. Applications for this reduction must be submitted three weeks before the new semester begins.

Other Scholarship Opportunities

• Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarships: Available to students from non-EU/EEA countries, these scholarships cover tuition fees and living expenses of up to 12,000 SEK per month, along with a travel grant. The application period is February 12-28, 2024.
• Global Sustainable Electricity Project: Students enrolled in the Master’s Programme in Solar Energy Engineering from developing countries may qualify for scholarships under this initiative.

3. Motivational Video: A 60-second video explaining why you deserve the scholarship. This video must be uploaded to a website or cloud storage, and the link should be included in the application.
