Job Description

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), in collaboration with the Egyptian Al Alfi Foundation, is offering fully funded scholarships for students pursuing a Master’s degree in International Education Management. This program takes place in Germany and Egypt and combines attendance-based and online learning phases over a period of three years (six semesters).

Scholarship Benefits

The EPOS DAAD Scholarship provides financial support throughout the program, covering:

  • A monthly stipend of 992 Euros
  • Health insurance
  • Travel expenses
  • Additional benefits (if applicable):
    • Monthly rent allowance
    • Allowance for accompanying family members

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree
  • Have at least two years of professional work experience
  • Be proficient in English (B2 Level CEFR):
    • TOEFL IBT: 79
    • IELTS: 6.0
  • Apply from educational fields or any development cooperation sector
  • Be interested in international learning environments

Bachelor’s degree certificate & transcripts
School diploma
Letter of recommendation from employer (signed and dated)
Motivation letter (about two pages, personally signed)
Copy of passport (information page)

Additional Requirements for EPOS DAAD Scholarship Applicants

  • Must have obtained their degree within the last six years
  • Proof of current employment
  • DAAD application form
  • Employment verification letter
  • Recommendation letter from the last attended institution (official letterhead, stamp, recent date, and signature)**

Important Notes

  • DAAD selects scholarship recipients, NOT the universities
  • Successful candidates receive admission letters by May 2025
  • Applicants are encouraged to explore private funding options

Applicants who wish to apply for an EPOS scholarship, have to fulfill the following additional requirements:

  • It Should not be more than six years from their graduation from University.
