Eligibility Criteria:

  • General Requirements:
    • Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Master’s applicants: Must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
    • Doctoral applicants: Must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • For Chinese-taught programs: Minimum HSK Level 4.
    • For English-taught programs:
      • Native or official language is English, or
      • IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 86 or higher for non-native speakers.

  • Completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (in Chinese or English).
  • Copy of Passport Home Page (valid until at least September 2025).
  • Notarized Highest Diploma (and proof of current student status if applicable).
  • Academic Transcripts (sealed by the academic office, with notarized translations if not in English or Chinese).
  • Language Proficiency Certificates (HSK for Chinese programs, IELTS/TOEFL for English programs).
  • Pre-admission Documents (official invitation letters from the university).
  • Study Plan Proposal (1,000+ words for doctoral applicants, signed by a Chinese supervisor).
  • Two Recommendation Letters (from professors or associate professors).
  • Art Examples (if applying for art/design programs).
  • Legal Guardian Documents (for applicants under 18).
  • Foreigner Physical Examination Form (completed in English).

Selection Process:
