Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold nationality in an ADB borrowing member country.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a strong academic record.
- Have at least two years of full-time professional working experience.
- Demonstrate English proficiency (IELTS: 6.0, TOEFL: 550).
- Be no older than 35 years at the time of application (exceptions for specific programs may extend to 45 years).
- Be in good health.
- Commit to returning to their home country upon graduation to contribute to its development.
- Applicants must not:
- Be enrolled in graduate programs or pursuing a second Master’s degree.
- Reside or work in a country other than their home country.
- Be employed at ADB, AIT, or any of their affiliates.
Selection Process
The selection process involves multiple stages:
- Information Request: Applicants request details and forms from AIT.

- Institutional Screening: AIT ranks applicants based on eligibility and merit.
