Job Description
Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is committed to empowering and supporting exceptional students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations. To fulfill this mission, ADU offers a wide range of scholarships and financial aid programs across multiple categories, helping students cover their educational expenses. These scholarships are available to students with outstanding academic performance who wish to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate programs.
ADU scholarships are open to applicants from all nationalities and backgrounds. International students can apply for various programs, including the Athletic Scholarship for sporting excellence and team spirit and the Family Tuition Waiver, which offers tuition fee reductions for siblings or other family members. Some scholarships are exclusive, such as the Abu Dhabi University Scholarship, which is restricted to UAE residents and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals, and the H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship, which is limited to students from public secondary schools in the UAE.
Scholarships are typically valid for four years or until graduation, whichever comes first. Students must meet specific English language proficiency requirements for certain programs. Once admitted to ADU, students are automatically considered for scholarships based on their eligibility, as reflected in their academic records. Applicants do not need to reapply annually, provided they continue to meet the scholarship maintenance criteria.
The application process begins once the student receives formal admission and a unique student ID number. This ID enables access to a secure account on the university’s Financial Aid and Scholarships section. Students can review eligible scholarships and submit an online application form for those they qualify for.
